Members of Nepal's Newari community in Australia have expressed solidarity with their compatriots in Kathmandu over a government proposal to regulate community-led initiatives. We asked the President of Guthi Australia, the Nepali community organisation based in Sydney which is formed on the same principle as guthis in Nepal, what is Guthi and why is it so crucial for the people of Nepal?
